On Tuesday, year 4 took a trip to Rainham Marshes, linking their learning to both science and geography. They looked for living things and their habitats, learning about how animals cope in hot weather using ‘aestivation’. They also were able to look out over the River Thames and complete some fieldwork by making a field sketch of the river banks. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we managed to avoid the rain!
